New Corvette Book by Randy Leffingwell

Author, photographer and all around good guy, Randy Leffingwell is on the Mid America Motorworks campus for the next two days gathering info and photos for a new Corvette book.  About seventeen unique and important Corvettes will be featured in this Motorbooks International book.

The two cars from the MYGarage Museum collection being featured will be CERV-1 and the Rebel LeMans 1968 L-88 Heinz/Johnson Corvette.

We are so excited about this bookt, as master digital photographer Dave Wendt is masterminding the photo concepts behind this book project.  Check out all of the cool automobile, train and cycle shots on his website.  I have viewed some of his work for this project, and it's worth buying the book for the photography alone!

If allowed, I might give you a sneak preview in a few days - stay tuned.

This was my third year at Funfest and the most enjoyable. My wife and I were in the Fun Ride and it was great. I hope there will be more in future years.

I attended four seminars which I think are one of the most valuable assets of Funfest.

My wife and I get a kick out of walking through all the parked Vettes and checking out the vanity plates.

The food was good and the rain didn't spoil a thing for us.

I understand all the labor and planning that goes into such an event and it is always done to perfection.

My wife and I would like to thank Mike and all who put in a massive effort for us.

The way I look at it. Admission $25.The experience PRICELESS!

I have one thought for future events. On Funfest Boulevard just past exhaust wars a two level tower for people to go up and take photos would be a hugely popular thing to do. Like the ones I have seen at parks. It would provide a panoramic view of the entire area.

Again: Thank you Thank you Thank you
