The Annual Corvettes at Carlisle 2009 is now in the history books for both Carlisle Events and Mid America Motorworks.  This large annual event is a must for all Corvette enthusiasts and is a must attend, must see it to appreciate the size and scope of not only this event, but the Corvette marketplace in general.

This year our Mid America Motorworks Funfest Event group established a first for our company.  Installs of exhaust system, high performance Corvette brakes, vents, grilles, masks and ???.  This is the first time we have taken our installers to an event other than Bloomington Gold.  The team was busy from the curtain opening on Friday morning until the close of the day on Sunday.  Lines of people were watching as others sat or stood to observe these installations. 

We set records on sales, applications for our PartenrsFirst credit card program, color matched Corvette Car Covers and the number of new customers met.  The show was a very successful event for the MAM Team of over 26 employees.

Highlights of the event were many, but specifics were the new Corvette Grand Sport.  Blake found his dream Corvette in the new Grand Sport Heritage Edition, pictured below.  This was the FIRST Heritage Edition Grand Sport and was found at the Kerbeck Corvette display.  Actually, they had about 25 new Corvettes on display, from the first WHITE ZR-1 produced, to Z06's, Grand Sports and many other new Corvettes.



Another highlight of the event was the Fun Display Fun Judging.  Michale, Blake and I once again had the distinct privilege of exploring the thousands of Corvettes to find our favorite.  My favorite?  Well, this year it was a 73 Coupe.
