Corvette Car Covers: Available in Color Match for Your C5 & C6 Corvette

For over two years, I have been working on a new concept in Corvette Car Covers.  My initial vision and purpose was to find a suitable that would look good, could be manufactured to match exterior Corvette colors, and have a "metallic" paint look.  Since I had never seen this type of fabric, the hunt was even more difficult.  The end product had to have a body enhancing fit, a soft underside and fit within our target range of cost to selling price.

One day while sitting in a fabric mill office with Tim Curtis and Blake Yager, the manufacturer showed us a new fabric that he was excited about and might fit our needs.  Our first look at the material told us that this was the right fabric.  Our next question related to color availability.  His answer was "I can match and manufacture any color you want."  Step one and two seemed so easy, there had to be a hitch somewhere!  Our next question related to fabric quantity and yield.  Only 700 pieces, and we could have any color we desired.  The bad news just dropped.  With over 40 different C5 and C6 exterior colors, that would be over 28,000 car covers.  What seemed too good to be true was turning out to be true, not so good.

With Tim's excellent negotiating skills, we got the units and minimum order quantity to a point that this program could become a reality.  Check out the links below to  find what I believe to be one of the neatest Corvette products introduced into the market place since I introduced the first Assembly Manuals back in 1978!  Now that is saying a lot, considering all of the fine Corvette Restoration Products that are in the marketplace today!

Ten of the colors will be in stock by early September and most, if not all, will be available at Corvette Funfest.  If you are attending Corvettes at Carlisle, we will have sample covers and fabrics at the show.  Stop by and check them out!
